: Full-time; The shifts are evening (7P-7A) and are 3 twelve hour shifts.
The MSTAR Clinician is responsible for providing assessment and referral services to patients who have complex psychosocial and discharge planning needs. In addition, the MSTAR Clinician offers crisis intervention, community assistance, and, coordinates and facilitates the development of a Discharge Safety Plan as indicated for at-risk patient population with discharge needs. The MSTAR Clinician also functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team, who communicates and receives referrals from other patient care providers to help meet the needs of the patient and family for a safe discharge.
A. Licensure/ Certification/ Registration: Requires licensure or certification in the State of Utah as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family or Behavioral Health Registered Nurse; BCLS and CPI also required.
B. Education: Requires Masters Degree.
C. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in psychosocial assessment preferred, preferably within an emergency medical model.
