Research Assistant Needed
I am looking for a motivated, undergraduate or graduate, social science student willing to be trained in Positive Criminology (I will provide this training) and complete CITI training which is online training for social scientists working with human subjects. This is a non-paid position. The research assistant must pass a background check and be willing to conduct face-to-face interviews with inmates. Confidentiality and tact are essential. Familiarity with qualitative design research methods is helpful but not mandatory. The qualified candidate must possess good communication skills and the ability to communicate on a variety of intellectual levels. Good writing skills are helpful if the research assistant desires to contribute to a journal article publication on the project. No prior research experience is necessary.
