Family Program Coordinator

We have two job openings; one at our domestic violence shelter in Provo and one at our outreach office in Orem. I have attached a copy of the job descriptions for your reference. (40 hours)


  • Provide case management for women in the domestic violence shelter


  • Teach parenting skills to residents in the shelter


  • Provide crisis intervention to clients calling in on hotline


  • Provide organized and planned opportunities for healthy interaction for clients in the shelter


  • Coordinate and partner with local agencies in meeting client’s needs and advocating for prevention


  • Coordinate with other staff members


  • Assist with after-hours emergency shelter coverage


  • Coordinate Shelter Bachelor level interns and volunteers


  • Arrange culturally competent service to clients regardless of race, religion, disability or sexual orientation


  • Support and utilize the range of CWCIC programs


  • Complete other tasks as assigned

Reporting:  Each week at staff meeting, report to supervisor. The report should include:


Ÿ  Concerns about clients and/or their children in the shelter

Ÿ  Review any schedule changes for the week

Ÿ  Any assessments completed and those that need completing

Ÿ  Weekly schedule and plan for parenting group

Ÿ  Report on Child Abuse Prevention Team meeting and activities

Ÿ  Report on conferences/ trainings attended

Ÿ  Present holiday/celebration plans to adults

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and SSW licensure
