New Haven Residential Treatment Center is seeking a Full-Time Master Level Therapist.

Opportunities in this position include Individual, Family, and Group therapy. Strong applicants will possess an affinity for Relational, Experiential and Systemic modalities. Applicants must possess skills in discernment, therapeutic theory, intervention and teaching techniques. Planning, implementing and adjusting a course of treatment are required. Applicants must be capable of holding appropriate boundaries with students and their parents, have the ability to assess and interpret student behavior, and are able to make critical decisions based on input from multiple sources. New Haven employs a Team Delivery Model of treatment, engaging representatives from Clinical, Residential, Recreational Therapy, Nursing, and Academics in our Treatment Team. We have a unique clinical program with a rich learning and supportive atmosphere.

New Haven is a residential treatment center for adolescent girls and their families. After eighteen years working together, our treatment team is one of the most experienced in the field of girls’ adolescent treatment. We believe in delivering clinically sophisticated therapies in a context of love and connection. We view the family as the most important system to engage in the healing of any one of its members. Qualifications

ü  Masters in MSW, CSW, LCSW, CMHC or MFT.

ü  Licensed in the State of Utah

ü  Two years working as a licensed therapist

ü  One year working in a residential setting

ü  Ability to pass a Utah State background check

ü  Able to work with a combined team of clinical and residential staff

ü  Good verbal and written communication

ü  Experience in treating youth

ü  Ability to create positive relationship

ü  Professional documentation and charting skills
