Two of the Disability Law Center’s community partners are offering opportunities to learn how to advocate for issues that are important to you and to meet with your legislators. Please join us in supporting them:

4:00 to 5:45 pm in the State Capitol Rotunda

 Invite your Legislators to come to the reception to meet you and join in an afternoon discussion of disability issues and concerns!  To locate the names and contact information for your State Senator and House of Representative Member, go to the Internet website http://le.utah.gov/GIS/findDistrict.jsp and enter your address. Call them and ask them to meet you at the Reception!

CHILL ON THE HILL 2013
Join NAMI Utah and USARA for an advocacy filled day on the Hill!
February 12, 2013 at the Utah State Capitol
Rally for Recovery: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Education Seminar: 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

 NAMI Utah is excited to expand our Chill on the Hill event this year! In conjunction with USARA, we will participate in the 2013 Rally for Recovery starting at 11:00 a.m. on February 12 in the Capitol Rotunda.

We Need You!!

 We are hoping for over 500 participants to show our legislators that mental health matters in our community!

At 2:30 p.m. join us in the Spruce Room for an educational seminar about talking to your legislators. We will give you tips, help you find out who your legislators are and walk you over to meet with them.
