ACADEMIC CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK FACULTY POSITION: The Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry at the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center of West Virginia University School of Medicine seeks a full time adult clinical social worker at the Assistant Professor level. The successful candidate will provide psychotherapeutic services in the Department’s adult outpatient programs as well as the teaching/supervision of psychotherapy to Departmental trainees. Faculty are also expected to participate in research and scholarly activities. Applicants with a Doctoral degree in social work are preferred; a Masters from a CSWE-accredited graduate program with teaching and scholarly research experience will also be considered. The successful applicant must be eligible for LICSW licensure in West Virginia. Training and experience in the treatment of anxiety/affective disorders or marital/family therapies are preferred. The position will be at the Assistant Professor level, or higher depending on qualifications.
